This platform was developed in collaboration with researchers from the University of Hull and was part of the “Geographies of Love”. The project aimed to help researcher to collect love stories from the people in Hull to analyse “love” as a topic.
Due to the sensitivity of the subject of interest, an effective mechanism for data collection had to be found. The project proposed, the creation of a web mapping platform as a method to approach the target group and make people feel comfortable about sharing their love experiences.

Explored were existing web mashups to gain understanding of their workings and user interface.

The prototype was given to the University of Hull for further development. This can done by students as part of their final year projects or by professional developers. I won the “Best Project in Digital Media 2018” award from the University of Hull.
